DynaSoft Nitrel v6 GORE-TEX Trail Shoe

​Pros: ​Comfortable, responsive DynaSoft cushioning ​Dependable AT Tread outsole on mixed trail and pavement ​Lightweight feel with zero break-in period ​Cons: ​Gore-Tex failed after only 6 months of moderate use ​Socks soak through in wet grass and light puddles ​Full Review: ​I really wanted to give these shoes five stars because the fit and ride are fantastic. Right out of the box, the DynaSoft midsole provides a great balance of cushion and responsiveness, and the AT Tread outsole delivers solid grip across loose gravel, light trails, and wet pavement without feeling clunky. ​However, the primary reason to pay the premium for this specific model is the waterproof Gore-Tex badge, and that is where it let me down. After roughly 6 months of moderate, everyday walking and light trail use, the waterproofing gave out completely. ​Now, simply walking through wet grass leaves my socks thoroughly soaked. While the tread and upper still have plenty of life left, the early membrane failure defeats the purpose of buying an all-weather shoe. It's a great shoe for dry trails, but disappointing for wet conditions.

Everything was on par with what id expect from new balance, they were just half a size too small

I really appreciate the variety of men and women's New Balance shoes. in the past in my 20's and 30's I needed high quality running shoes for the city streets and for the trails. Every time I put on my new balance they fit me correctly and were comfortable for running and even walking. They hold up well. I especially like the toe box being a little wider. Since my choice here is for running shoes. I prefer the wider toe box and opt to purchase men's shoes instead of women's shoes. I replace my running shoes every 6 months.

They are not water-proof, water-resistant at best. I took a 30 minute walk in the rain and half way through the toes of both shoes were soaked. Absolute waste of money. I also bought the wide version but they were very narrow, so they fit tightly.

Problem is the fit is a little tight a size up too big regular 12 just a but tight.

So far they are not as comfortable as my 880 . They don't feel as wide. Haven't had any wet weather yet to see how they stay dry.
