Kids' 574 Sneaker

Our toddler son has wide, square feet. Think Sponge Bob shape but a foot. Finding sneakers that can accommodate his foot shape has been a whole infuriating thing. Meaning, brands who claim to be 'wide' aren't wide enough, and brands who specialize in wide toddler sneakers are often U-G-L-Y (and they don't got no alibi, they ugly). Not to mention they are overpriced. I was skeptical and had low expectations when ordering the 574 Core Bungee. When they arrived I braced for the tears and wails from our son as the he attempted to squeeze his Texas toast loaf sized foot into the sneaker. But no tears this time! Our son put them on and proclaimed "they don't pinch" and then proceed, for two hours to show us how they make "him super fast" and "jump higher that anyone". I'm now ordering two more pairs so that he can have a pair for the classroom, for gym class and for at home. Well done New Balance, well done. You now have a small customer who out grows his shoe size every six months! Five stars, would highly recommend.
