Bought these for my brother, who is Special Needs, and they are the best shoes for those who have flat feet. The wide shoe is comfortable, and inserts are easy to place into the sole.

My latest pair of 928s are black and the double velcro closure style instead of laces. I just pull out and fully open the straps. Put the tongue all the way back. And horizontal like slide my feet in. I am a 6'4" 210# 68 yr old male. With life long CMT. Weak ankles. And high riggid arches with bigtime supination. If most folks point out their toes their feet easily slide into most shoes easily. My foot dorsiflexion locks early. Like a hardwood hockey stick base. Its tuff to force it into a normal xxwide shoe or boot.. Has NB and possibly in working with Dunham considered a 928 4"or 5" height boot? With lateral MC or SB built- in higher up from the footbed. I used to own Northface and 2 Dunham boots that were good initially, but outer sole edge crushed and herniated like my ankle joint. I've tried out 3 custom made AFOs but they bring on pressure point pain. Be aware NB was the only company that could size me shoes to accept my AFOs. Those 6E shoes may not be high volumes but they are saviours to us specialty fit customers.
