All day comfort.
Beautiful build, quality materials, perfect fit and superbly comfortable sole. Just returned from a week exploring Nantes and Western France walking an average of 14.5K steps each day. These 991v2 have been so good, soft and supportive, lightweight and gliding over all surfaces.

Disappointing - way too narrow!
I purchased these shoes and love the design and quality. However, these are hands down the most narrow, uncomfortable New Balance that I've owned. I don't have overly wide feet, and have not had any issues with any other trainers. I have tried to persevere and break them in but my poor feet have given up. The size is just off somehow, very long and too narrow.

Nice shoes but narrow in toe box
Shoes are nicely made. Suede is hairy and of good quality. However the shoes fit narrow in toe box. In comparison to 990v4, 990v6 and 993 that I own, these are the narrowest. I wouldn’t recommend sizing up as then the gap between toe and end of shoe increases even more and could lead to foot slipping forward. In terms of comfort I still think 990v4 and 990v6 are the most comfortable shoes despite having a different sole technology incorporated.
