Upper: Stretch laces, a gusseted tongue and foot-hugging liner ensure a custom fit that moves and recovers easily with every stride. Engineered mesh provides targeted breathability and support. Padded collar helps provide secure, distraction-free lockdown.

Midsole Drop: 8mm. Classified as a mid-drop measurement, it pushes your foot forward to support a more natural mid/forefoot strike.

Lower: Springy Fresh Foam X puts cushy landings and trampoline-inspired bounce under every stride. Targeted rubber in the tread puts durable grip right where you need it.

Logo fell off after worn in the rain

First time these shoes got wet in the rain the Ellipse logo lettering fell off of both shoes! I've purchase New Balance for shoes for the past 20 years and never once had an issues. What is going on with these shoes?

Looks good & that's about it...

These shoes are EXTREMELY UNSTABLE - proven by runrepeat.com - and hurt my achilles tendon (somewhere I've never once in my 30+ years had issues before) Support is not something I usually have issues with, but there's just zero structure/stability in these. I even took a break to let myself heal and came back to these after some months... bam, pain again. They are nicely wide, but are the quality is lacking. I tried on multiple pairs and they had ripples (extra fabric) on the sides. Many people will probably find the cushion nice when they first put them on, but will be doing their feet, ankles, achilles, and knees a BIG disservice in the long run - be warned! (I know it sucks since they look so cool lol) You can get NB's newer technology on any other model for the same price! These have the old foam.
