Finally New Wide Sneakers!
Have been watching for a while for new wide width New Balance sneakers. They are Comfortable, practical and just what I wanted. I do wish there were more wide width shoes that are current, so you don't have the old lady look. That said, if Nordstrom would carry more I'd buy more.

Not for running
Overall look and design is nice. However, I found these shoes far too stiff and unyielding for running. They were also heavy and thick on the feet and, at least in the pair I received, one arch was discernibly higher and harder under foot than the other. They might work as walking shoes for some.

They run huge and are not made in USA
As per NB website, they stopped making them in USA in 2021. They are made in Vietnam, they outsourced the manufacturing yet the price stayed high despite that.
They run huge and my feet are not tiny.
I will try a smaller size to see if they can work.

Nice shoe
Like this shoe a lot. I purchased in usual New Balance size, 8D. It is the SL-2 last, which is wider and deeper in the toe box, like the NB 940. I add replace the inserts with OTC orthotics, like superfeet.
