A fully adjustable helmet-compatible hood and dual-adjust hem seal in heat, while high-set hand pockets, an internal stash pocket, and a two-way YKK® VISLON® zip make it adaptable to ropework and layering systems. On Belay!
I have trusted this jacket for three seasons now to keep me warm while belaying my climbing partners… and it has yet to disappoint. I especially like the velcro wrist straps, as they allow you to adjust where the jacket sits in relation to your gloves and other layers. The jacket itself is very warm, layers well with other items, and has kept me cozy on many belays below freezing. The newer version also packs into itself, so you can clip it to a harness or backpack. This is an AWESOME jacket!

Too tight on hip area
This jacket fits well except the hip area. Too tight on the hip area. So XS is too small for me (hip too tight) and X is too big for me (too loose on chest area). Basically this jacket won’t work for me.

Very light, very warm, one
Very light, very warm, one of the most comfortable, zipper is smooth, hood is great and covers well, pockets are excellent, length covers the butt just enough, very warm in MN sub-zero temps. Would purchase another one. Very packable.

Amazing jacket! I get cold
Amazing jacket! I get cold all the time living in Breck, CO. I wear this around town and always have it with me for BC skiing. I am a very cold person, so even temps in the 30-50s; it still works for me. I am 5’10”, 145 lbs. Athletic lean build but with hips. Medium fits well. It loses in the body and is a little tighter on the hips. I am able to layer a lot, which was a need. If I didn’t need to layer, I would consider a small, but it is possible the hip area would be too tight. So I’d say on par for a medium.
