Natalie Bootcut Jeans

I purchased these jeans and I love the way they fit. They have a lot of give and stretch, but they have an odd odor to them. It smells like a chemical. I’ve washed them several times and I can’t get the smell out. I think it may be from the dye, but I’m not sure. I’ve never had anything like this happen before. Going to try to wash them a couple more times and if this doesn’t help I’ll have to take them back. Really bummed because I really like the way these fit and how they feel when worn.

The pants look & feel great! I knew these jeans would need to be shortened, so I brought them back to Nordstrom's for alterations. Here's where things fell apart. No black thread available for black jeans? One leg is now shorter than the other. The seamstress suggested to wash them to see if that helps...okay? Well once you wash them, THAT SMELL is activated. I can't even keep them in the same room with me. Now everyone will see the legs are uneven because they'll all be looking down towards people's shoes to see where THAT SMELL is coming from!

I LOVE these pants. I wear them for work because they look more like a dress pant but they are stretchy and the flare makes them very on trend! I can dress them up with a blouse or dress them down with flats and a tee. Versatile and comfortable! I am typically a 6-8 and bought an 8. Would probably wear a 6 for non work related outings.
