Misleading description
I own Nambe pieces myself. This was for a gift. The Nordstrom site described it as a medium-sized Butterfly bowl. All other sites give the three sizes of the Nambe Butterfly bowl: 7", 9" and 11", with the 9" bowl running the same price as the one on the Nordstrom site. Yet, lower in the Nordstrom description, the bowl is described as 11" wide. I took a chance and ordered it but did make the customer service agent aware of the discrepancy. When I received it, the bowl measured 8". This was much too small for my gift purposes, so I returned it. The last time I looked, the discrepancy of size was still on the site description. Nambe is responsible for the misleading 9" description for an 8" bowl, but Nordstrom further muddied the water by listing it as a medium-sized bowl of 11".

Nambe bowl
Beautiful bowl purchased as a wedding gift. Hubby and I received one 30 years ago, and it's still one of our "go to" bowls for every day and special occasions. It's not nearly as pristine as it was all those years ago, but then neither are we!

Much Smaller
The photos online of the product with fruit inside make it appear deeper than it is. It could only hold two real lemons at the most. It is very well made and I will find a use for it.

It’s very beautiful and shiny however I have to return it since it was too small for what I intended for use. I ended up buying the larger size.
