misleading description
I ordered this dish. The online description said the dimensions were 9 x7.75 and described it as an Appetizer dish. It arrived in a BOX that was 9 x 7.75.. My dish was now described on the packing slip as a pickle dish. I was very disappointed at the much smaller size and feel it was misrepresented. It is a lovely 7.75 inch pickle dish but definitely not big enough to be an appetizer dish. I called VB customer service and was very satisfied with their help. They are aware that the online description is imcorrect and offered me the dish no charge. Love my pickle dish but wanted an appetizer dish!

The art work by Laplau is really enchanting. You feel like you are in the scene, and can imagine what the life depicted is like. The quality is high end, it is made in Europe, and the glaze is completely smooth. I keep it out when it's not in use, as a decorative piece. This is art "naif" but it is also entirely elegant. I hope this pattern is re-issued.
