Medium Sutton Bag

This bag is lightweight and stylish. I like how it has a long strap too. But if you are using it as a shoulder bag it will just slip off your shoulder constantly. Also, after a year of very little use, it started coming apart at the seams both on the bag handle and inside the bag. I thought it would be a lot more durable than that!

I decided to buy this after seeing a few bloggers I follow recommend it for a "mom" bag. This was a nice bag and hold many items, but it is a bottomless pit even with the many pockets. The details are nice, but overall it's too frumpy and looked too much like an expensive diaper bag for my taste. I returned it.

I needed a new bag for a trip we are taking and love the look of this bag. It's a great looking bag but as soon as you put anything in it the bag becomes a sack. It hasn't a firm bottom of any kind. It comes across as an upscale Vera Bradley but won't hold a shape. I have returned it very disappointed. It is a lovely looking bag. Another thing to report is that the inside bag is made of a very thin nylon and is quite big. I couldn't imagine a purpose for it. Oh well the hunt continues...

Saw this in the mailer and it is exactly what I was hoping to find. I wanted a lightweight, quilted type bag I can sling easily over my shoulder ... which this one is, the handles and cross body strap are nice bonuses. I did not want a heavy, branded, 'logo' bag, and I wanted something more stylish and unique than anything Vera Bradley. I got the maroon color which I am loving for the fall, winter season ...it provides nice but subtle contrast with my daily black, grey, army green, denim coats and jackets. It also goes well with the patterns on my lunch tote and gym bags. The details and silver tone hardware are also very nice. There is plenty of room for my wallet, cell phone, cosmetic pouch, etc. Plus I like the extra pouch that comes with it and the internal clasp to hook your keys too. It has just the right touches of structure in the little foot pieces on the bottom and a leathery thingy in the center bottom to hold some shape to the bag.

I got this bag in Magnet—beautiful charcoal gray that would go with anything through the seasons. The bag is so soft + slouchy but still holds it’s shape and is just really pretty. Love the MZW interior pockets/organization and the medium is a nice larger every day size for me. It will hold my 13in MacBook Pro if needed + the rest of my essentials with plenty of extra room. Ugh I may just keep it! But I opted for this bag as an alternative to the MZW Metro Tote because of the Sutton’s crossbody option. Unfortunately the buckles on the sides (for the crossbody strap) change the look (and add some extra weight) so the style is not as close to the Metro Tote as I’d hoped. Also really wish there were exterior pockets (but Metro Tote doesn’t have those either unless you go with the new Deluxe). I do really appreciate the versatility of this bag though. Love that you can add the crossbody strap for convenience, but can also remove the strap and clip down the sides to change the shape/size. This bag is so cute clipped down! Hope this helps!
