Cindi Block Heel Pump (Women)

I'm 74 years old and started to have foot problems about three years ago. Ever since then I have been looking for a comfortable pair of shoe that I can wear all day besides sneakers . I have tried every store in our rural area. Finally, I went to the internet and ordered a pair of shoes from Nordstrom. I would have gone there first because they are an excellent company and have been around for a long time but, the closest Nordstrom store to us is an almost 5hrs drive. Anyway, the shoes came and I simply love them. For comfort; they have every shoe in my closet beat not only for comfort but for style, this shoe can go anywhere. I have already ordered two more casual shoes from Nordstrom now that I'm use to internet shopping.

I have probably bought 15 pairs of these shoes in the past 10 years. Yes, they used to make them in other colors, which is why the number is a bit high. I have arthritis in my feet and am a professional woman who travels 150,000 miles a year. I take these as my complete go-to shoe. I can dress them up or down, wear them all day at work, out to drinks/dinner at night, and stroll through the airport with no effort. I always get compliments. I've learned to look for the same last in other Munro shoes and these usually fit just as well and are just as comfortable. So expand your horizons if you can!

These are the perfect shoes for work. They have rubber soles so they are very comfortable, but at the same time these shoes look professional. They have just the right size heel. They took about a week to break in because the fabric has to form to the size of your foot but after the first week, they're as comfortable as sneakers.

they do make a "matronly" statement. Yes these are indeed sensible shoes but they are just a little too dowdy for my taste and sense of style. However, I value comfort more than style so I will not send these back. I need to walk a lot for my commute and I've had foot problems and a few surgeries so I frequently compromise in the style department when it comes to my shoes. I have a few other Munro shoes because I know they will be darn comfy in most styles, and some are even cute. I wore the Cindi today with a cute flared dress and black tights and too be honest, it just didn't work. I'm thinking these will become more of a slacks shoe as they just can't rock a stylish dress. Compared to other brands, Munro tends to run a little bit small and a bit narrow, but once you know your size in Munro it is not a problem. In my experience, the Munro fit is pretty consistent.

I am now on my THIRD pair of 'Cindi' pumps and they are my 'go to' shoe for business dressing in international settings for 10 years now. The cloth breathes and always looks professional and never looks 'ratty', never scuffed, and there is a little bit of cushion under the ball of the foot to keep your feet comfortable even if you are standing all day long. Please don't let Munro discontinue this style, and please keep carrying it at Nordstrom! If you do discontinue it, let me know FIRST, so I can buy 5 more pairs to last me until I retire!

I got these in the wide width to accommodate bunions. Unfortunately, they're also very wide in the heel. The length was good, but the heel width was so wide I could slip my hand into them. The style also made my feet look really long, but maybe on a small, narrow foot they'd look really cute. They did in the picture.
