'Princess' First Tooth & Curl Treasure Box Set

I love the two little ceramic boxes (one for the first tooth and one for the first curl). They are adorable. I don’t understand why the pink and white stripe box that they come in has come twice now somewhat bent and with black smudges along the top that are not removable. The box is a keepsake too, and should be perfect, not smudged and somewhat bent. So once again I am returning it, and will try a third time to buy this for my granddaughter, but this time I will pick it up at our local Nordstrom in hopes that I can get a perfect box too.

These keepsakes are adorable. I would give it 5 stars but the baby 1st for girls has tarnished, sterling wheels while the blue, for baby boy, remains a high polished silver (no tarnish). How do I know? I went to a location and saw them 1st hand and ordered 2 others just to see if the flaw was only with the girls. Yes, it is. When I mean flaw, I mean the wheels are a blotchy tarnish - you know, when silver starts oxidizing. Packaging probably needs to be better. The set is still adorable.

They look so cute in the pictures. Then they arrived and the front and back of the first curl container was covered in a gray sticky substance. I opened the box to see if it could be wiped off and I found messy pink paint spots on the white parts, the silver crown details peeling off, chips and a huge crack. What a shame to charge $30 for junk.
