MOTHER

Founded in 2010 by premium-denim industry pros Lela Becker and Tim Kaeding, MOTHER specializes in collections that present a juxtaposition of hard and soft. The brand evokes teenage rebellion, unconditional love and hilarious insult all at the same time (the company's name is a play on the duality of the word "mother," which can be nurturing or a cuss).

Runs Small

The cut is much slimmer in the hips than other Mother styles. I couldn’t even zip them up in my usual size.

Perfect Fit

Jeans run true to size. They do run long. I’m 5’9 and they touch the ground with shoes on
