Worthless
Worst e-bag purchase I ever made! This is the 3rd rolling duffel I have bought and I will not be buying another. The 1st was great, the 2nd was even better with the addition of a side handle. This new bag however is virtually useless! Loss of the strap to add an addition bag makes the bag impossible for me to use. Additionally, the removal of the side clamps makes the bag unsecure. You just cheaoened the bag, but kept the price. So incredibly disappointing!

Nice bag!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love my other two ebags backpacks, one of which is the Mother Lode Jr. I needed a wheeled bag of smaller dimensions to fit foreign airlines' limitations and this seemed to fit the sizing perfect. I haven't used it yet, but it seems durable and will be a great addition to the few luggage pieces I normally use.

Replacing eBags Mother Load Carry-On Wheeled Duff
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved my previous eBags Mother Load. It fits my lifestyle spectacularly and I have learned how to pack it! When replacing my eBags Mother Load with the new Samsonite Mother Load, the compression straps have been omitted, much to my disappointment. I do like the extra side handle and am happy the mess pocket on the inside no longer contains a divider. I would put my shoes in this pocket and it was a struggle, as I have big feet. Looking forward to my next trip and giving the airlines a chance to "take good care" of my new Mother Load.

SO glad the mother lode is back!
I've used these bags for years - before Samsonite bought out the original company. This is the best suitcase to use as carry-on. I was a flight attendant for 20+ years and have been through so many bags. I was concerned that the bag was discontinued and couldn't find anything else on the market that seemed as good. The mother lode is an exceptional bag.

Rugged, roomy carry on
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m on my second Mother Lode carry on. Between them they have traveled over 1,000,000 miles, it has held up and still looks good. It is the best bag I’ve ever owned. Very happy to see that Samsonite has reintroduced them.
