Elegance for everyday

I waited a very long time to purchase this ring on sale. Vermeille (pronounced vermay) has an interesting history. In 18th century France, a process called fire gilding using dangerous amounts of mercury:gold was in use causing blindness in many workers. Ultimately, France banned the process. A century later, the English invented electroplating. This is a lovely piece I wear daily. It was worth the wait.
