Earrings with poor stone color

I purchased these earrings for my nieces 30th birthday. The stones were aquamarine and when they arrived the stones were white not the natural blue as advertised. It’s too bad, I really liked the style of earring.

Aquamarine color is more like white/cloudy see-through - it does not look like the picture.

Shame on Nordstrom and Monica Vinader

I ordered these earrings online for my daughter for Christmas, should have checked before giving them to her. The stones were two totally different colors, one was almost clear and one was cloudy white. Now I need to figure out a return option as she took them back to Santa Barbara and there are no stores for miles.
