Lans Quilted Lightweight Down Jacket

I ordered this in the black. It is my first Moncler purchase. I'm getting kind of sick of seeing the canada goose logo on every other person so I wanted to try something new. I love puffer jackets and this one is very lovely. It is soft and puffy. This isn't meant to be a hefty duty winter down coat but more of a fall/spring transitional piece when you need some warmth. The look and fit are great. I will caution that I think it runs a tad small. I'm a size 6 so I was debating between the 2 and the 3. I'm slim, muscular and small busted but I didn't want it to be tight so I went with the size 3. That was the right call. In my opinion it fits like a size 6 (not like a size 6-8 as indicated by the size chart). I would imagine the size 2 would fit like a 4. I'm 5'6" and the length fits me pretty much like on the model. It is long enough (not cropped) but it isn't a long jacket. The only thing I'm going to knock off one star for is that the front pockets are only accessible from the top - this is fine for putting things in OTHER than you hands. I like to walk with my hands in my pockets (for convenience and for warmth) and the top loading pockets don't work for that. I wish they had done the top loading pockets with additional side access at the rear seam of each pocket to slip your hands in. Lot of jackets have this....why not this super expensive one?

One of my favorite jackets. I will use it a lot here in Seattle. Perfect coat for year round. Looks great and really comfy. Follow the size chart posted and you should get the right fit. I'm typically a small it tops and went with the size 2. Fits perfect. Only gave it the 4 stars due to price other than that it was worth the splurge.
