Molecular Silk Amino Hydrating Cleanser

What it is: A cleanser boosted with a supercharged concentration of good-for-you nutrients for softer, more hydrated, healthier-looking skin.

What it does: This cleanser is supercharged with silk amino acids, potent antioxidants that provide trace nutrients and nourish the skin. They function as a humectant that draws water and enhances moisture absorption to revitalize and hydrate skin. The new addition of 4X silk amino acids, alongside 10% more nourishing ingredients to prevent skin from drying out, makes this new formula even more suitable for very dry and sensitive skin. The texture transforms from a rich-thick gel into an enveloping gentle foam that leaves skin feeling soft, deeply cleansed and prepared for the next step of your routine.

Key ingredients:

- Silk amino acids: a natural, water-soluble glycoprotein that is extracted from raw silk and acts as a humectant. Provides a soothing effect and antioxidant properties and protects skin from environmental aggressors

- Ethylated L-ascorbic acid: a newer, more stable form of vitamin C that helps brighten dull skin, boosts collagen production and provides excellent photoprotection underneath sunscreen

- Organic moringa oil: an antioxidant-rich oil extracted from the seeds of the moringa tree, packed with vitamins A and C. It is also extremely rich in phytonutrients and fatty acids. Hydrates the skin and strengthens the skin barrier.

- Organic safflower oil: a noncomedogenic oil rich in fatty acids and vitamin E that doesn’t clog the pores and soothes the skin while deeply hydrating and providing antioxidant protection

- Lecithin phospholipids: form a protective film on the skin’s surface to seal in essential moisture, keeping the skin healthy and supple

How to use: Cleanser can be used daily in the AM/PM as a first and/or second cleanse. To remove makeup and sunscreen, massage a dime-sized amount first onto dry skin, then add water and massage again to dissolve daily grime, pollution, sunscreen and makeup. Rinse and repeat if necessary. For daily cleansing, massage a dime-sized amount onto damp skin, leave on for 1-2 minutes for extra silkiness and rinse.
