Modern Method Strapless Underwire Bra

I ordered this bra because I purchased a thin, white, spaghetti strap tank top that needed a no show bra underneath. This bra did the trick for me. For reference I am 5-1, 138 pounds and I ordered a 34D. I also ordered the Wacoal Red Carpet bra which was comfortable and supportive but I ultimately returned the Red Carpet bra because the outline of the top of the cups was more pronounced with my thin fabric clingy top. I will say that the cups on the B-Tempted bra seem to be smaller than the cups on the red carpet bra in the same size. I will be ordering a 34DD to compare.

I recently lost 30 lbs (I was a 36C) so before ordering I measured for my band size, then added 3” to the 29” measurement to order this in a 32. I TRIED to try it on, but couldn’t even come close to hooking it. I then measured the band, stretching it reasonably as it would when wearing it as a strapless, and couldn’t even get it to measure 30”. I’m 5’7”, 113 lbs and a small A cup. I’ve since purchased other bras in a size 32, and they fit perfectly.

Maybe it's just the shape of my body but this bra isn't working for me. The bra bites into my chest in the middle where the two underwires meet, and also the seam on the side of my chest (where the material changes from the cups to the back strap). Additionally, I feel like it gives my boobs a weird shape, and the lines at the top are visible through a t-shirt. Again, it could be me, not the bra. I'm a 32B and I do fine with Calvin Klein, Natori, and Cosabella... After the COVID lockdown had me basically in my PJs for months, I'm not going to settle for underwire that is uncomfortable.
