Faux Fur Trim Convertible Puffer 3-in-1 Maternity Jacket

My mom got this for me as a gift and I was horrified at how cheaply made it was. The pockets are lined with cheap nylon, not soft or warm. The filing is some kind if stiff poly batting, not really a synthetic down. It looks cheap too. Finally, the arms were ridiculously short. I told her to order an XL because I am tall (5'10") and the sleeves were about 3" too short. Disappointed in Nordstrom, a brand I usually trust, for stocking this item.

I should have listen to the other reviews but I thought maybe it would work. I was excited when the coat arrived but disappointed when I tried it on. The sleeves are too short and the cut by the upper arm is odd making it uncomfortable. I return this the next day!

Horrible fit in the arms! It actually hurts to lift my arms. I read that the sleeves were short, but I figured I wouldn't be affected as I'm only 5'4" and have never had that problem. Not only are they short when I extend my arms, the sleeves are sewn in at an angle that it limits movement, which means the fabric cuts into my arms when I raise them. It hurts!! I can't vouch for it's warmth, I'll be returning it before testing that.

Warm, cozy, and a great fit. I love this coat because I can wear it post-partum as well. It has an extender that zips in as well as a "regular" zip closure. The coat is true to size and is very flattering.

It's good enough. Maternity options aren't really plentiful and this is probably one of the best choices. Nice that it converts to with baby and normal coat. The diagonal lines front and back are cute enough; don't like the hardware logo on upper arm of one sleeve. It clashes with the cute sporty contrast colored tag on one of pockets that actually matches the coats style. I will wear this after baby, too, although I wouldn't just normally buy this coat. Ordered all colors and one other style for comparison. Ended up keeping the black in this style because of diagonal stitching, hand pockets, and the other colors were too shiny for my taste. Price is OK given warmth and maternity; coats are never cheap. Fur on hood snaps off for cleaning or preference. Wish the chin area had some soft lining or something since there are a lot of zippers up there that can get scratchy. I guess can't get all the details just right on a maternity brand. Quality is OK. Some stitching on the maternity insert is crooked, but that piece is temporary anyways I guess. Arms could be longer; I could see how this could be a problem for people with longer arms. I am 5'5" and typically wear a size 2, now size 4-6. I bought a Small and it seems fine. Relieved to have sorted out a maternity coat as winter is coming.

Medium was too big, small was too small. Plus the small was missing the maternity insert. :/
