Modern Check Organic Cotton Jacquard Duvet Cover

This pattern and fabric was exactly what I was looking for and I was excited to buy it on holiday promotion! It feels comfortable and not rough to the touch. I have a queen bed with a thick bed frame and drawer underneath for storage, so I bought the King size duvet for extra overhang on the sides. It looks great. However, there is a small defect I didn't notice - there is a loose thread or something in the middle of the duvet cover that is causing a bit of a gap in the weave, and I am worried it may eventually turn into a hole I have to patch. I only noticed when I washed the cover for the first time and went to put it on the bed, so I am not sure if it was there before or after. Still, I would hope it would not get a hole before I've even used it for the first time! If I had paid full price I would be more irritated, but buyer beware on potential quality issues, especially at this price point.
