Why Did Nordstrom Cancelled My Order?

Nordstrom Beachwood, Ohio store cancelled this order (containing multiple items) gainst my specific request not to, after Nordstrom guarenteed they would ship the order to me, after the order was delayed too long for me to pick up the items at the store due to death in the family & needing to take a flight out of state. Very disappointing.
