Layering Kit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These scents are AMAZING!!!! The smell so good by themselves and together. You really can’t go wrong with either one. A little goes a long way and lasts all day. I’m loving the versatility of them and I’m looking forward to getting them in their full size. I’m truly in love with these and I’m actually glad I was able to get this kit so I have a piece of each scent. I can’t wait to add them to my collection!

My favorite was the raspberry and black pepper. They are STRONG though which isn’t my favorite when it comes to perfume. They do have great lasting power and the spray on the samples are nice and misty.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was genuinely impressed by every scent in the Michel Germain sampler collection, which honestly surprised me because it’s rare for me to connect with an entire fragrance line. Each perfume felt unique while still carrying this soft, luxurious, French-inspired elegance that makes them feel expensive and wearable at the same time. My absolute favorite was French Pear & Queen’s Lilac. It’s the perfect balance of juicy pear sweetness and soft floral notes. On my skin, it smelled feminine, romantic, and clean without being overly sugary or powdery. It’s one of those scents that keeps making you want to smell your wrist throughout the day, and it layers beautifully into this soft warm scent after a few hours. I can easily see this becoming my everyday signature perfume. Orange Blossom Garden & French Vanilla felt warm, creamy, and comforting. The orange blossom keeps it fresh while the vanilla gives it this cozy, luxurious finish that feels both classy and inviting. Raspberry Royale & French Black Pepper was probably the most bold and playful scent in the collection. The raspberry adds sweetness, while the black pepper gives it this slightly spicy sophistication that makes it feel unique and a little more elevated than a typical fruity perfume. Gold Bergamot & Vetiver Royale smelled fresh, bright, and clean with a deeper earthy finish from the vetiver. It gave me more of a rich, sophisticated vibe and felt very timeless. French Lavender & King’s Glove was calming and elegant. The lavender is soft rather than overly herbal, and it dries down into something smooth and comforting that almost feels spa-like. French Oak & Sage Imperial had a warmer, woodier scent profile that felt grounding and refined. The sage adds freshness while the oak gives it depth, making it feel mature and luxurious without being too heavy. What really stood out to me overall was the longevity. These perfumes lasted all day on my skin, and instead of fading quickly, they developed beautifully over time. Every scent blended naturally with my skin chemistry and somehow smelled even better as the day went on. This collection completely exceeded my expectations, and I honestly haven’t stopped thinking about French Pear & Queen’s Lilac since trying it. ✨

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This MICHEL collection perfume layering kit came with six mini bottles of perfume. I believe the idea behind it is that you can mix a match the small bottles to create a unique sent. The kit came with an envelope for directions, but there were no directions inside. The sample bottles were easy to use, and the scent was strong and lasted throughout the day. This would be a nice way to determine, which sent you like before purchasing a full bottle.

I can’t say how often I like a fragrance except for one note that hits wrong for me. These allow me to create my own individual layers from what I love and what works best for me.
