'Medium Travel' Tote

Luxuriously durable, scratch-resistant saffiano leather comparable to saffiano bags Prada and Ferragamo offer at much "dearer" prices! When I saw Kors offering a bag of this quality for this price, I was taken aback! I grabbed the hot pink medium in December 2011. It's extremely large. It looks and carries exactly like my coated-canvas large (GM) Louis Vuitton Neverfull. In fact, the plexiglass bottom (insert) from my GM Neverfull fits this Medium Jet Set Travel Tote perfectly. I am ashamed to admit, I am a handbag aficionado. Sadly, the reviewers complaining about the leather quality are not familiar with saffiano. It is the "diamond" of leather finishes, you just can't scratch it. Because of beauty, functionality, price, and quality, I recommend this bag with gusto! Today, I'm getting the small in black.

I was so happy with this bag when I first got it. Perfect size and stylish look. But then the threads on one of the straps started popping off after only a few weeks of using it. Nordstrom was fantastic as usual and exchanged it for an identical bag with no hassle. I was hoping it was an isolated problem with the one bag. But the straps on the new bag started coming loose, too, so I returned it for good. The straps are just too thin to support a bag of this size. Very disappointed in the quality. I do not recommend this bag.

Despite the bad reviews of this bag due to the material, I really like Saffiano leather. I think as long as you know what to expect in terms of what Saffiano leather is and what the material is like then it is a great bag. The material actually feels a lot more durable than other softer types of leather, and it seems like it would be more up to wear and tear. I really enjoy the size - the description saying it is measured large is very accurate. It has lots of space for all of my books and my laptop. I just got the bag today so I'll have to see how it stands up long term, but upon receiving the bag and putting all of my items in it I am very satisfied. It also looks like it would be great for travel.

I hear people hating on the leather, be aware it is a hard, formed, durable, fashionable, tote. The bag has no lining but I love it that way. (I wanted a bag I could take anywhere and carry anything and with this bag I can. Have an accident simply wipe it off inside and out.) Great bag for me as I carry a water bottle, snacks, my lunch, in addition to my wallet, make-up, cellphone/charger/cable, various miscellaneous extras. The handles are a bit thin however I'm not worried. I have the utmost confidence in MK, I own several, I could not imagine them creating a bag of this size without them anticipating the amount of items / weight that people will be carrying in them. And if there's a problem I'm sure they would stand behind their product and make it right. Only real issue I have but not a deal breaker the straps are short for a tote bag of this size. Easy fix, I simply put an extra hole in the end of each strap. Looks professional and not a soul can tell it didn't come from the factory that way. I used a leather hole punch I purchased from a fabric / hobby store or you can go to a shoe repair store. Size; more of a large. If you've been shopping you've seen the trend of large totes these days and this is one of them.

I was so excited to get my bag ... the perfect color and size ... when i got it I was so dissapointed, the material is sooooo cheap, and it is an expensive bag I haven´t even used it and it already had some marks on it like fold paper... I just return it and got 3 awesome things

I just got this most beautiful Michael Kors Tote and.....I LOVE it!!! Very stylish and has plenty of room for all your needs! I usually stick to neutral colors but this time decided to change it up a bit and the torquise just "pops" love it! You can wear this handbag with browns and it would look amazing!!!
