For me, worth it.
I've never spent this much money on a purse in my life. I don't care about brands; I have no interest in spending money so I get somebody's name on the side so everyone knows I spent money on it. But I kept looking at how well designed this thing is, and I wondered if it would be the perfect size, easy to carry but big enough to get things in, and with great pockets I would intuitively use so I would be more organized. I felt like a nut when I went ahead and ordered, because it was so expensive, so indulgent - but I was right. This is simply the best purse I've ever owned. I love that I can keep my phone in the side pocket; it's hidden and secure from others, but I can see it (so I can always check that I have it before I leave the house without digging in for it) and I can find it easily when it rings. I put my keys in a specific interior pocket, and I haven't had to dig through my purse to find them once, which has always happened with other purses - even those with interior pockets. There's something about the way the pockets are designed that makes it easy to stay organized, even if you're not a typically organized person (like me). Plus it looks great. I actually got out scissors and cut off the gold MK dangling from the edge because I hate the whole status symbol thing, and I would get rid of the designer name etched across the side if I could, but the fact is, this is a high-quality purse that has helped me feel more organized. If I can take care of it, it'll be worth every penny.

Horrible experience for 1st MK purse purchase
I purchased this purse from outlet in Leeds,AL December 2018. I was so excited to purchase my 1st MK purse (normally purchased COACH purses) and could not wait to carry it along with the matching wallet. Imagine my surprise when a year goes by and the straps are falling apart. I took the purse to another store and was told by an employee there that she had the same experience with a similar purse. She recommended that I only purchase the purses with thicker straps. Imagine my surprise by the response I would think a company like MK would sale higher quality purses. I will have to pay for the repairs myself. I am NOT at all happy. So much for a great 1st purchase from MK..I expected so much more considering how much money I paid for the purse and matching wallet.

Drooped after a year
Initially, I loved this bag. I got it in "luggage" which was the perfect neutral. It was eye catching - the structure, the color, the gold MK tag. I frequently received compliments on it.
The bag was also a good size. And it had plenty of pockets to keep me organized.
But then, after a year, it lost it's shape and structure. It no longer stood up proud like it used to; it was droopy. After it drooped, the compliments dried up.
For me, $250 is too much to spend on a bag that only looks good for a year.

LOVE this bag!
I just bought this today (in store), and I love it! Like a previous reviewer, I too am small (5'1", 100 lbs), and I've been searching for a bag that would fit my iPad but not be so large that it looks ridiculous on me. I also didn't want a bag that would be heavy. This tote fits the bill. It also looks professional and sleek without being too plain. What sold me on this tote versus the other Michael Kors totes was the fabric. It has an interesting, durable-looking texture that's sturdy but not stiff. The purse feels really good and comfortable against my body. The straps are also comfortable. Comfort is very important to me. Classy all around!

My First Saffiano Leather
A classic look in a beautiful red. Quality zipper construction extends all the way from side to side to allow easy access inside. Interior is roomy, with a zip enclosure and pockets - even my iP6+ fits nicely. Nicely lined, easy to see inside. I haven't found the key clip yet. Due to the Saffiano leather, the bag is more structured and seems to retain shape. Stylish side pockets are nice for items that don't need to be secured. Being under 5'5", I don't like big bags - so for me, this is a perfect 'medium capacity" handbag. Can be carried in hand or nice fit over shoulder. Saffiano cleans easily. While I have always had soft leather bags in past, I decided to try the Saffiano - but do note that it is a treated leather that feels very much like PVC.

Just feels cheap
I purchased this tote after having another "Jet Set" tote from Michael Kors a few seasons ago. This style varied a bit from my previous purchase and seemed of much cheaper quality and construction. This bag has a top zipper at the very top of the bag rather than the slightly hidden/depressed zipper as my previous bag. Also, the handles are just stitched on at the base rather than being supported through large brass eyelets as my former purchase. Finally, the quality of the leather just feels cheap. It is described as scratch-resistant, but it is hard and rather unyielding, again, unlike my former purchase which was very supple and soft to the touch. To top it all off, this bag was more expensive! Really disappointed and I will be returning it.
Luckily, I was able to purchase the exact bag I wanted in the Navy color that I desired after a more exhaustive search.

Great bag. With scratch resistant harder leather, the look is more crisp. The grey is perfect for transition from summer to fall. It's big enough where I can keep a lot of things in it but it's still not overbearing.
