Hooded Trench Coat

It runs small. The size you get will fit the way you want it to if you only wear a thin shirt. Definitely size up if you plan to wear a sweater. I normally wear an XSP, but felt it was a little snug. The material looks and feels a bit more like nylon/polyester than a coated cotton. The coat is also a bit too heavy feeling for me because THERE ARE SO MANY HEAVY BUTTONS. Goodness, can Michael Kors make anything that doesn't have the label printed obnoxiously all over it? Each button says Michael Kors. The buckle on the belt says Michael Kors. Ugh. I returned for that reason. Also, the metal buckle makes an annoying clanking sound when it hangs down if you choose to just tie it (the way you see in the photo). I also was annoyed by the buttons on the pockets because you can feel them when you have your hands in your pockets.

I initially purchased this in a regular small and realized I was swimming in it! For reference, I am 5ft tall, 112 lbs., 34B, 29" waist, and 35" hips. I recently exchanged it for a Petite XS and I am hoping it's a better fit. The coat itself is beautiful. I like the removable hood and removable liner--it gives me plenty of options on how warm I want to be while wearing it. I believe this is a great coat for the fall and for when it rains--it being water proof and all. However, it is a bit pricey, but I am hoping that the price would mean that it is good quality. Only time will tell.

I purchased red, XL, I'm 5'6" and usually wear a size 14. Things I love about this coat: deep red color, removable lining and hood, roomy sleeves/shoulders to fit over a suit jacket or sweater. The sleeves aren't lined but if you size up you can definitely wear this over a warm under layer and make it work for cold rainy days (40s). It runs true to size and I could have gone with the L but wanted extra room in the sleeves. I am not particularly tall and I found the XL sleeves to be just the right length. It will probably be a bit too big without the lining, but I wanted it more for cooler days. I'm so happy I purchased this coat, definitely an outerwear staple for me!

I have been looking for a trench coat that can be worn to work or with jeans and will look great. I found it! I bought the red, but it's more of a reddish/burgundy. I tried it in store and received a compliment right away from the lady next to me. If you want a classic, but stylish trench coat..then this is it. It's a great price on sale and it looks expensive!! I got a small and it fit perfect...I am 5'2 and wear a size6 or small top. The lining is a little loose but that is the way it was made so that it doesn't stretch and tear when you sit, etc.

I ordered two jackets on the anniversary sale and ended up loving both but keeping this one in the end because it had more cute details that I liked. The belt is really long FYI but I like to tie it around my waist rather than wearing as an actual belt so it's fine for me. The lining is removable- SO nice. The hood is a good size for full coverage in the rain. It is a little lighter weight than I would typically pick for the winter but with a sweater underneath, it should be just fine. It's also pretty long, which is what I was looking for. I am 5'6" and it comes down to about my knees. I ordered an extra small (I am 120 lbs) and it's the perfect fit for me.

Water resistant, removable hood and removable liner. Great fit! Close to true to size, but fits a little small. I went up a size to wear over heavier clothes and it's perfect. Classy jacket at a great price during the big N sale!
