i got these first in black, as they didn't have my size in the taupe, and tried them on at the store and they are super cute and sexy! they fit perfectly and they're comfortable! i never thought i could find platform heels that would be so comfy. i had originally bought the sully by enzo angiolini, which are pretty comfy, but my heel always slipped out. but with these, i really like they have a strap/buckle around the heel so you can make sure it's snug and the heel never feels like it's going to slip out. plus, i like how the instep is also strapped in by the shoe. with heels this high, you want to make sure your foot is snug with the shoe. because of the platform, the heel isn't has high as it looks. but still be careful when walking on uneven ground (like cobblestone) because the sole of the shoe steps in from the main sole base, meaning there is a smaller surface area at the very bottom of the shoe. i wore these at an event and had to walk on some uneven cobblestone walkways, and i had to make sure of where i was stepping, since i wobbled here and there if i stepped in between the stones. i wore these for most of the night and just the ball of my foot was achy, but that's with any heels that i wear. i love how these shoes look super modern, classy, and sexy all at once! i love how the black looks so much, that i just ordered them in the taupe. the heel strap is leather, but it's more on the thinner side, making it more flimsy. i wish they made it a little more beefier. these shoes are great for wide feet, as my feet don't feel tight or squished. they are a bit pricey and were outside my normal price range that i pay for shoes, but when it's this comfortable and cute, i think it's worth it.
