Michael Kors Chain Bracelet Chronograph Watch, 38mm

This watch is so cute, but also poor quality. I received one as a Christmas present, and one of the chain links broke in March, Nordstrom replaced it (no hassel), but then the second watch broke in August. I now have to explain to my husband's grandmother why I longer where the watch she bought me for Christmas. I typically love me some Michael Kors, but it's a firm no for me.

I had been eyeing this watch for the past year and decided to purchase it when I noticed Nordstroms having a 25% off sale. Nordstroms made this experience wonderful -- with great communication & quick shipping. Anyway, I have petite wrists and sometimes struggle to find that perfect fit watch. The great news is that this watch is adjustable. I was able to take out 2 links and the watch fits. I love how this watch also appears to be a bracelet. The non-traditional "strap" is one of the reasons I was drawn to it. As I mentioned I have small wrists, yet this 38mm size makes the statement I want without being too big. I gave a 4 out of 5 because it is still early. I would like to see how this watch wears overtime. Certainly for me it earns a 5/5 for its bold design.

Because of the chain style of this watch, there are only a couple links you can remove. I have a very small wrist - after taking out the maximum number of links, this watch is still about 1 link too big. I have to wear it pushed up my forearm a bit to keep it from turning all the way around on my wrist and looking funny. I recommend that you try this watch on in the store and have it adjusted before buying it.

Ladies, this is the watch! If you want a watch outside the traditional band, the bracelet style of this watch is it. Not only is it georgous and stands out, the quality & weight combined add to this master piece. I complemented it with a Michael kors bracelet and together it is classic, stylish and superb. Hesitated getting this for a while because I was wary of the possibility of it feeling too heavy & looking too flashy, but I finally purchased and am so happy that I did! Yes, it is slightly heavier than others I own, but you get used to the feel. It is more unique than most other gold bracelet watches with enough boldness to stand out but not too much flamboyancy. This goes with both casual and more dressy outfits. I have a larger wrist than most and this still slides around on my wrist a little, however if I remove 1 link set it barely fits around my wrist & is really difficult to fasten without help, so I could see the fit being an issue for someone with a small wrist but the links are easily removable.

love the two tones and love the links. But there are only 3 removable links and still making the watch too loose on my wrist. other MK watches can be adjusted to fit a slimmer wrist.
