Merton 24 pack

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using this for a few weeks now on my 15mile cycle commute to work and it’s fantastic! Features are all nicely thought about and work perfect, and the quality is what you expect from Osprey. Even managed to fit a car battery along with tools in this bag weighting around 30kgs and the bag was still comfortable and held up without any stitching failing etc One thing I have found, when using the rain cover the plastic toggle adjustment part can dig into your lower back a bit. With a bit of fiddling this can be avoided however on rougher terrain it can revert back to sticking in you again…but this is really minor and nitpicking! Highly recommend this bag

Black is not 'Hi-Vis'

Despite the pictures, the 'hi-vis' raincover is black. Not a colour that is good for standing out. Osprey have argued that the logo is hi-vis. I think they just want you to make an additional purchase. Bag is okay.

I bought this backpack because

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this backpack because I was looking for a functional backpack during pregnancy. It's absolutely great, it is perfect for an active ligestyle for every day and for travelling.

Love it

This backpack has it all. Room for full day at the office including laptop, notebook, breakfast and lunch, plus gym kit. Pockets for flask and umbrella are handy. Also amazing to take for a weekend away since it opens like a suitcase and has plenty of room. Love the bike light loop too. My helmet doesn’t fit the helmet attachment unfortunately so I don’t use that.

Great travel pack

I don’t cycle but I was looking for a commuter bag that could double up as a weekend/travel bag. I really love the colour of this bag. The straps are very comfortable. The front chest and waist strap feel secure enough but could be a bit less flimsy. Inside can fit a large laptop. I especially like all the different compartments and storage spots and let me separate things well. Comes with a rain cover which I haven’t had to use yet but I’m sure will be much appreciated! Bag can fit quite a lot and is perfect for a couple days away fitting heels, large make up bag, large belt, several outfits and toiletries. I love that it opens up fully so when I’m packing I lay out everything like a suitcase but then you can also just open it partially like a normal backpack. Very happy.

Researching paid off!

Kudos to Osprey this is an absolutely brilliant backpack! It's soo comfortable and although I think it says about being for cycling that's a of no specific relevance although is of course great on the bike. It fits my 15. 6 inch laptop perfectly and is completely protected. All other pockets and zip layout very cleverly done especially with the straps which being the side pieces around. This bad can be made really small or expand to a really good capacity. Don't think twice!
