Metro Backpack

I purchased this bag online after seeing it in store. I was excited about the sleek look; the cute little cosmetics pouch on the front snaps on and off, making it slim and easy to fit into small spaces. The bag zips completely open so that, like a suitcase, you can see absolutely everything inside of it and find all your things quickly. However like a suitcase, everything depends on the zipper, and mine broke after just a month of use. Because the zipper extends all the way down, my bag fell completely open and all my things came crashing out, so sadly I had to return it. It’s a cool design concept but it needs to be made with much sturdier materials. The zipper needs to be foolproof, also I would have lost the cosmetics pouch eventually as it kept popping out of its magnetic snaps.

I have not traveled with this yet but I did have to go into the office this week. This backpack had room for two laptops, cables, my small purse, notebook and a water bottle with room to spare. It is sleek and not at all bulky and did not strain with the weight of my items. The little snap attachment on the top allowed me to attach my lanyard with my access badges for easy use. The straps were comfortable. The only thing I wished for was a water bottle holder on the outside of the bag. I don’t love slipping my bottle in with my laptops, just in case there was leaking. There were plenty of smaller pockets to hold the bits. There is also a cool small pocket at the top by the straps which could be perfect for a phone or a snack. I didn't realize it was there so I haven’t tried it yet. It has the same suitcase strap that the duffle has and I love it on the duffle so I expect when I travel with this it will be perfect.

This backpack is great quality. I had one issue with a zipper 2 months into owning it, but it was resolved and replaced with a new one. The customer service goes above and beyond here at monos. That being said, let’s talk about the reasons why this college student loves this bag more than others. I purchased the Dover(nylon) grey color, the bag is very easy to clean with a damp cloth. The bag fit my 16 inch MacBook Pro, books, accessories, iPad Air, a 5 subject composition book, the monos sanitizer wand and much more. I have taken the bag everywhere and use it daily. It is perfect for those who catch flights and just need to bring the necessities. The bag can fit a pair or two of clothes, a pair of shoes and of course your laptop. I found that this bag can remain light and isn’t too difficult to carry when full. I especially loved that the bag has a carry on strap so that you may attach the bag to your carryon as you stroll through the airport. In this bag there is a place for everything and it allows you to stay organized with the mesh compartments & don’t forget about the amazing magnetic like attachment. I like to switch the attachments out regularly for the padfolio. The BEST thing about this bag probably has to be that it’s waterproof. I have taken the bag many times through heavy rain and all my belongings inside both compartments were bone dry! It saved my laptop and all my electronics and that alone makes this product better than others. All in all if you’re looking for a bag that can best fit a busy lifestyle, handle the elements, and stay stylish , then you have found it!

I make bags for a living and pride myself on the quality of small batch production. This bag is so well made, I fell in love immediately. Other than the quality of production and materials, the design is impeccable--so thoughtful. I wouldn't change a single thing. Having said that, the price is very, very fair. I couldn't believe this bag was this cheap, in fact. I tip my hat, you have a life-long customer. I would suggest this product to anyone and everyone.
