Merritt Slingback Pointed Toe Pump

I loved the look of this shoe and was surprised at how cushioned and comfortable it was. Unfortunately, the area beyond the toes (the point) is too long and seems a tripping hazard for me. Sadly they are going back.

These were incredibly comfortable right out of the box, no rubbing or soreness at all. I walked a ton on the very first day wearing them, and my feet still felt great afterward. I have wide feet due to my low arches, so having a wide-width option has been an absolute lifesaver. So happy I found these!

These shoes are super cute, but the toe point extends too far past tip of toes. Also, the ankle strap is too short for size 11 shoe. Sadly, these are being returned.

I typically wear a 9 (in non-designer brands) but went up to 9.5 in this shoe. Honestly, the 9.5 isn’t much bigger than the 9, but it works. I think the leather will loosen a bit too. But keep sizing in mind. The shoe has a comfortable block heel. The toe point is not especially long, not witchy. It clearly shows as a pointed toe, and is listed such in the description, so I don’t know why previous reviewer gave it a low rating for being as described. Anyway, construction is good. No squeaky noises. I have an average/narrow foot and think this shoe is best for an average width foot.
