Moab 3 Waterproof Hiking Shoe (Men)

Purchased these prior to a 2week trip to Oregon and Red wood forest in Cali. These were a replacement for my 4 year old Merrells. Right out of the box no pain of breaking them in. They protected my feet from both water and mud. More importantly they had amazing grip on the sole. No problem traversing steeper terrain. The best part was how comfortable they are on my feet. These are a wide width which in my size is difficult to find but not at their web site. At 62 YO I need all the support I can Get! Overall these are 5 star.

I am just glad my husband can now find shoes in Canada for specific function that are long enough. Unfortunately, like clothing, the industry thinks that if you are long/tall you are also "big"; so these are too deep and too wide for my husband's foot to fit well. But, now he isn't cramming into 12's. Small graces to be thankful. Great quality, well made. Should last a long while. Great value for your money.

I tried these out walking around a city on vacation. After a day, I had blisters on my little toes since the shoes are so narrow. I noticed my socks were drenched at the end of the day since my feet couldn't breathe. I tried wearing them again a few days later but had to return to my hotel room to change them since my feet were so sweaty. I've never had this much discomfort with shoes or hiking boots before.
