Upper: Durable leather and breathable mesh provide protection and ventilation. Kinetic Fit™ Advanced footbed provides a biometric foundation that contours to the shape of your foot. A bellows tongue and protective caps on the heel and toe keep rocks and trail debris at bay.
Midsole Drop: 11mm. Classified as a high-drop measurement, it allows for more cushioning to absorb the impact of heel strikes.

Love my Moab’s!
I really love this hiking shoe. They are even roomy enough that I can switch out the insert for a thicker one that I need for my feet issues. They last for many miles of comfy hiking. My hubby loves his too!

Nice shoe but not close to the correct sizing!
I purchased 2 pair in different colors - 1 from Rack, 1 from another retailer. This pair was smaller than the pair purchased from the other retailer (so disappointing) & I returned them.

Not a good fit for me.
I saw these shoes. I wanted these super cute shoes, and I was so excited. Only problem, they weren’t a good fit for me. They hurt my feet. They are darling and well made. They have a tough and sturdy sole. They were uncomfortable to me. I wear a 7-7.5 medium width shoe, which is what I ordered. They fit my foot just fine, just were uncomfortable. Sadly, I returned them.

The only hiking shoe for me
These Moab hiking shoes always fit and are comfortable right out of the box. I appreciate the wide widths. After several years and many miles of comfortable walking I went up a half size to 8 wide, and they are perfect. I need extra room in the toe box for comfort. I also have high arches and need support in my walking shoes. My Merrell shoes never disappoint.
