Bare Steps^® H2O Water Shoe

This is a great shoe for toddlers and preschoolers. My nearly 3yo can put them on himself with or without socks and finds them comfortable. I like the no rise footbed and wide toe box for his foot development. My only downside for these is that proper fit depends on an adult putting the shoes on the child with the tongue of the shoe properly tucked and the velcro tight. When my son does it himself, the velcro's natural placement isn't tight and is prone to fall off. But I recognize this is user error!

My son wear this shoes and he immediately tell me it hurts, he is only 2 years old. In general I would tell him to try again. And he been trying for 3 days. The third days he literally cry and was trying to hide himself so I don’t put him the shoes. Now he just sees the shoes he started to cry. The kids are the most honest person in the world. So now I am pretty sure it really hurts him. Now I am very upset and have to find another shoe for the summer camp. And this is not a cheap shoe for a 2-year-old toddler.
