Alpine 83 not a good fit for me
the show was impossible to put on because the tongue was fully attached and the laces were only ornamental. I returned them for a better fitting design

Not Waterproof!
I really like these shoes and was planning on taking them on a fall trip hiking in Iceland, but upon testing them out like I test out all waterproof gear before taking it on a trip…these immediately got wet and soaked through. I would not have purchased these if they weren’t waterproof. This is disappointing from a trusted brand like Merrell and I will be returning these as defective.

The built in sleeve is awful. I can’t wear them. I didn’t notice it before o bought them. It’s very uncomfortable. Super disappointing because I is my first pair of hiking shoes and now I can’t even wear them.
