A jacquard-knit upper offers excellent breathability, while the lightweight FlatPro™ Foam midsole, FLEXconnect® flex grooves and Vibram® MegaGrip® sole all work together to provide superior flexibility and connection to the ground. In addition, a protective rock plate guards against sharp objects and debris in more challenging areas.

Great light weight hiker
I was looking for a light weight hiker to travel with. I wore these on the Samaria Gorge in Crete which is a significant down hill descent for the first two miles then bolder hopping and rocky train for the next 7. My feet did great in these shoes, which is a significant accomplishment. My only complaint is the padding on the back ankle is breaking down quicker than I expected. Really appreciate a good shoe that works with my difficult feet.
