Steve Air Sneaker (Men)

I am 75 and I walk daily. These are the best walking shoes I have tried. The support for the bottom of my feet, which have lost padding as I have gotten older, is as good as it gets. The fit, although a half size smaller than my regular shoes, is excellent and there is enough room in the toe box to wear these shoes all day long. They are expensive, so I hope they last. But I am very pleased.

My husband only wears Mephisto, so trust me when I say these don't look like Mephisto when you open the box. The outer sole feels like plastic, the shape on the heel looks odd, and there isn't that "weightiness" that you get from this usually sturdy and robust shoewear. Not to mention I didn't even receive it in a Mephisto carton, but a generic white Nordstrom shoe box; it made me return these asap. The design and color is great, but its a cheap imitation of real Mephisto quality.
