Worlds' Best Shoes!
This is one of several Mephisto shoes that I have purchased. It is not the most exciting shoe visually but I spend all day on my feet and the comfort and durability of this shoe is unparalleled.

Very well-made and comfortable shoes
This is a very comfortable and well-made shoe, beating out a similar ECCO by orders of magnitude. The leather used is remarkable in it's softness, yet seem like it will be long-wearing as well with its finish. They are excellent walking shoes.
Pros:
as mentioned above.
Cons:
- Not as attractive as pictured. It's downright homely. ECCO's moccs are much better looking.
- The laces are much too long, though are well made.
- Sizing is a bit on the large size. I was able to correct with a thin foam insert in the rear-foot area.
- The soles are relatively inflexible and make a clopping sound when walking, though they seem like they will wear well.
