Men's The Daydreamer Sunglasses

We purchased two sets of glasses. At the time there was a sign, ,Buy one get in free. We were told these were not included in that sale because they were mens. Now I checked the stand and signs again along with the docket and label on the glasses. Nothing indivated mens, unisex or womens on it. The signs were ambiguous. I did question this with the team at the counter and the reason was they were mens. As I work in retail myself, I do understand the customer's rights and consumer law. Please address your signs and provide clarity as to what is part of Mark downs and specials. You could have the ACCC enquiry.
