Details & care

The Backcountry Meltdown Water-Resistant Pant is a do-it-all jogger-style pant with water-resistant fabric to keep us comfortable on the mountain. Featuring a lightweight polyester fleece fabric, the Meltdown is perfect for mild-weather riding when we don't need a shell, while the comfort fit layers easily under bibs on deep, midwinter days. These pants have a PFC-free DWR treatment to shed moisture, and the elastic waistband and integrated drawcord adjustment ensure we have the perfect fit every time. For the finishing touch, the cuffs have a snap adjustment, so we can easily layer them with boots.

really nice yet runs a size big.
These are super nice & plush & comfy. I ordered my usual size of XL and should’ve got the L as it was too big in the waist, hips, thighs & legs. But not big in the ankle where it snaps..it runs more true there. I’m only larger in my stomach & waist due to a Microbiome issue after I took antibiotics & wiped out the good ones! I had to size up from 14 to a 16 where I’m at now. Otherwise I’m pretty straight & flat everywhere with no protruding thighs nor tush. Now I put on a pair of leggings under it to see the fit & it fit a little better. Yet I decided id get this BLK in a size large & return the XLs only to find out that size is sold out here & on the Backcounty site. I may keep them as they’re very nice. I love the warm fleece lining. And I got the water resistant pants to wear in rainy or snowy European towns this winter.
