Floral Print Belted Long Sleeve A-Line Dress

The pattern is cute, the fabric is soft and breezy without a lining but has enough structure to fall nicely. Sleeves were more fitted in relation to the rest of the dress (shoulders, waist, bust all fit looser than expected.) The two reasons I had to send this back was that the length was so much longer than shown and described. I am 5'4 and it was hitting me at the tops of my feet!! It also has a high waist band that is pretty rigid. In theory that would be flattering on me, since I have an hourglass figure, but it was so high up that it was practically right under the bust on me. Being shorter in height, that's not something that usually happens to me but this dress just seemed very different in person than in the photos.

I loved the fabric on the bright blue. The colors were great and the fabric has a nice heavy-ness to it for the winter. However, like other reviews say, the fit it is just weird. The top 1/2 of the dress fits smaller, but there there is all this extra fabric with the bottom 1/2 of the dress that doesn't lay well. Would probably work best for the tall and slim!
