Water Resistant Chelsea Boot

The second I saw these boots, I fell in love. They remind me of the Morton Salt girl — and believe me, I even went looking for the hat and jacket to complete the look! I’m normally an 8.5 with a slightly wide foot, but since they don’t come in half sizes, I ordered a 9. There isn’t a lot of give in the boot, but they’re still comfortable. They’re a little long on me, which I expected, so I just swapped out the insoles for thicker ones and that helped the fit. But the LOOK of these boots! They are so shiny, bright, and beautiful. I was originally debating between black and brown, but this rich caramel color won me over because it works with everything — blue, black, brown — it’s basically my perfect neutral. I loved the color so much I actually went back online looking for a bag to match them. They look buttery, glossy and almost good enough to eat. And strangely enough, they smelled amazing when I opened the box — almost floral. I have never opened a pair of boots and thought, Why do these smell so good? Now I want them in every color.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The boots are great and comfortable. I ordered size 6 but they are a little too big, they feel more like a 7. First time I wore them, I wore 2 pair of socks and that was enough. I will be getting thicker insoles since I can't return the boots because they were on sale.

The color is great and I love them. Similar to the other shoes I bought, I'm sad the sizing on the kid's shoes is not what other US-brand kid's shoes are like. I wear a 6 in women's adult shoes, but can also easily wear most size 4 kid's shoes, but these are smaller in that regard. I have not had a child who wears size 4 actually try them on. I do plan to keep these and try out with pantyhose to constrict my feet more to see if they fit - and if not, great for my niece!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Chelsea Boot are exactly as described and very comfortable. They do run slightly large - I’m a size 7.5, ordered 7, fits perfectly. They will likely be fine for mild weather but do not have insulation for cold or secure sole traction for snow/ice.
