Smart Clog (Women)

I wore these for about a week but I'll be returning, sadly. I love Melissa shoes and usually the rubber material isn't an issue in hot weather, but something about the way these are cut or ventilated made my feet sweat A LOT, the rubber of the clog started to rub and chafe the top of my foot. I wanted a sturdier alternative for my crocs, but this isn't it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are definitely comfortable but they’re kind of hard to keep on? They don’t really grip to your feet (if that makes any sense). I’m not sure if that’s because I should have gotten a bigger pair or if it’s just the shoes. Overall I’m satisfied for a last minute impulse purchase though! 🤣

These clogs are not a typical bulky round toe we sew elsewhere. The shape was sleek and slim, yet comfort was there due to the flexible material. Yes, it does smell quite impressively, and I had to air it out for days. The insole was slightly cushiony yet hard enough to protect feet from damages. Color is brilliant too. My daughter who wears women's 9 or men's 8.5-9 due to her thick and wide feet. These clogs fit her well with right amount of space, potentially roomy enough for socks too.

These clogs are extremely cute and exceptionally comfortable! They don’t squeak when I have nail polish on my toenails (which has happened before with a different pair of shoes by this brand), and I am not struggling to keep them on my feet all the time when I walk, like I have with previous clogs/slides. I bought size 6 and it is perfect; my usual shoe size ranges between 6.5 & 7, but I have learned that with Melissa shoes, I tend to take a 6 in sandals and a 7 in everything closed-toe. I do wish that the smell lasted for longer, as I adore the scent so much! The Melissa brand should put out a special limited line of candles or room spray or something— I want my house to always smell like these shoes.
