Free Platform Flip Flop (Women)

The previous review is very accurate. While very cute, the toe piece is plastic and instantly gave me blisters. I do live in New York and walk a lot. After about 30-45 minutes the top strap rubbed a blister as well on the top of my foot. They’re very cute and I got a lot of compliments but they’re just not wearable if you’re walking at all.

Love these sandals…very fun and bold. My only downside is I wish I had gotten a smaller size, (I ordered an 8, should’ve did a 7) I have a pretty skinny foot so the shoe fits but it isn’t as secure on my foot as I would’ve preferred. Also the strap in between the toes becomes a little uncomfortable after a while….making it not the best sandal to do a lot of walking in.

Theses sandals will elevate your pool look. They are very soft and comfortable to step into. I’m concerned there will be rubbing with walking but just walking around the house, I found them very comfortable. Size 8 fits a size 38 with a 9.6” length. The platform elongates and will look so great with kaftans. The beige is a very nice creamy neutral, more ivory than beige. Now all I need is a sun hat, and I’m ready for the pool.

On the downside, the toe post that holds the footbed and straps together, is made of plastic and within minutes of trying them out, it gave me blisters, abrasions on both feet, between my toes. So I wear them with socks, geisha style. The other problem, common to all flip flops, is that it flaps at the back while walking. Aside from that it’s comfortable, lightweight. Leaf spring green, not neon, not dark green as in the picture, platform height 2 and a quarter to 2 and a half inches, definitely less than 2 and a half. Came beautifully packaged and smelling like my favorite soap! Love it. I got the green and sized down, as advised, to a 6. I’m usually a 6.5. The 6 was quite generous.
