Beautiful bag but deceiving in size

This bag is beautifully made. According to the stated dimensions it was exactly what I was looking for, however, the construction of the bag is very deceiving. You cannot open it up fully to its 11" stated length. You are basically taking away approx. 1.5 inches on both sides. Perfect for someone who loves a small bag and doesn't carry much. Sadly, returned.
