Medium Liz Reversible Shopper

I bought the large initially and a week later, I had a medium shipped to compare and decide which one fit me best. I am 5'8" and the large turned out to fit me much better. I got the matching wallet and key cles with it as well - and returned my medium. Both are lovely and the quality is immaculate. I can fit TONS in the large, whereas the medium felt weighed down with all my junk. I opted for this bag instead of LV's NF as well and love that this goes with every piece of clothing I own.

I have been a long time fan of MCM since the 80's. While it has not been until recently that I decided to purchase an MCM bag, I have long known the brand to put out superior quality. A few months back I sold my first generation LV Neverfull because it had developed cracks around the piping (common problem), as well as no longer appealed to me given the brand is so over-exploited/manufactured and seemingly on every woman's shoulder. In its place, I wanted a tote that was classy with an edge. Flash forward to the MCM Liz reversible tote. I recently purchased the Cognac color in size medium. What I love is that the canvas is very soft and straps comfortable, as well as long enough to wear over a thicker coat if need be. The side tie straps are good for commuting, as I can pull in the sides to make my bag more secure. However, because I do not want the canvas to become dented or top piping cracked, I will probably not use the ties for extended periods of time. I also like that the bottom has leather strips for feet, which was a very nice and necessary addition to the bag. As for using the bag in reverse, I doubt I would do such given the cotton lining does not appear to be coated and I would not want to risk it becoming dirty. For now I really do not have anything negative to say about this bag and can honestly say it is hands down my favorite tote over and above my Goyard, Alexander McQueen, LV Estrella, Longchamp(s) and Tory Burch. I would highly recommend this bag to anyone looking for a nice everyday tote.

I love this bag in every way. It is functional and attractive. It looks like leather but seems fully waterproof. Many friends have commented on its' great look and love the light weight and spaciousness interior with removable pouch. I have been careful about setting it down on rough surfaces and use a purse "hanger" about 50% of the time. My only disappointment was a very strange wear mark on the bottom seam that showed up in the first 3 months. The piping is worn away along the piping around the bottom edge. (see photo) There are no wear marks any place else. The rest of the bag is in perfect shape after 1 year. I have used this bag daily and really love it--the worn spot is a small issue. I would buy from MCM again but would discuss any unusual wear marks the minute I see them and not wait. They make a fine product and probably would want to know. I would rate it 4.5 stars if possible.

I waited a while to purchase this MCM style bag and noticed it on SALE! I have a smaller leather MCM & needed a bigger everyday bag. I was on the fence between this one and a LV. I couldn’t justify spending that much on a LV that I see everywhere! I spoke to my “go to” associate at Nordstroms. She was positive that this bag would fit my needs. Purchased the black. I love the extra pouch and I found it to be not too heavy as others commented. I am 5’6 and its a perfect size. I like the canvas, so I wont be so worried about spills or stains and can easily wipe off any dirt. I can fit all my necessities in it with room to spare. Hoping the quality is as good as the attractiveness of this bag, then I could give it a higher rating.

I received my first MCM bag as graduation gift over 10yrs ago and still have it in my possession to date. Earlier this month I graduated again with a master’s degree and was given an updated version of MCM 10 years later. This leather bag is so spacious I was able to place my framed degree inside of it. This time next year when my granddaughter graduates from high school and I plan to pass down my 1st like brand-new Vintage MCM leather bag to her knowing she will take care of it another 10yrs +
