Maura Block Heel Boot (Women)

I really liked the look of these boots, which is why I bought them. I finally received them a couple of days ago and had a chance to try them on. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the inside of the shoes. They feel completely stiff, as if there’s no insole for support—my feet could literally feel the hard base of the shoe. They also use a cheap Neolit sole that’s supposed to be comfortable, but it offers no grip and no cushioning at all. On top of that, the boots had a strong chemical odor when I unpacked them. Unfortunately, I’ll have to return them. They’re just not worth the price.

I love the look (design) and fit of these boots, but that was it. I got them in blue and they looked cheap, felt cheap and smelled bad. I do not think the value fits the price. Even at one-third the price, I would still have to think hard as to whether I would keep them because I can't get over the fact that you can tell they are poly just by glancing at them. Maybe they are more passable in black.
