Tail Slide 53mm Polarized Sunglasses

Good looking glasses. Great wayfarer style but IMO better looking than most Raybans. Maybe a little slim for me due to my wide temple ridge. Luckily they are still comfortable since the hinges have some flex to them. Unfortunately I broke a lens on my first drop. Can’t fault the glasses for that. They are glass after all. These are my first pair of Maui Jim’s after being a Costa faithful for a while. Amazing lens clarity and do a great job cutting glare. Just be careful not to drop them on anything as hard as an oak floor. I think I’ll stick with MJ from now on.

I got the tail slide back when there was a brown frame option. I got the bronze lens. These were great glasses! A little too big for me and a little too heavy with the glass lens in the light weight plastic frame (made me sweat quite a bit), but great glasses overall!

I have owned these glasses for three years. They are great in many aspects. The optics make my 20/20 vision seem to be clearer, and the tint makes all day wearing very easy on the eyes! The glass lens is much easier to clean than poly lens. And the thick frame helps with keeping the lens clean as well! The down side though are the ear socks. It could be my fault for pulling the sun glasses off my face with a hat on. And in doing so it puts added strain to the ear sock. But they have fallen off two pairs of frames I have owned. The other downside comes with wearing a hat as well. The sun glasses cannot be put on while wearing a standard baseball hat. This might be because in order for the glasses to fit my face my ear socks are bent down ward like designed. So they have a large hook to them not allowing them to fit. With all that said. The best part about my glasses is dealing with Maui Jim’s customer service. I have a tendency to break things and my glasses need a little repair time to time. From the phone calls to emails to seeing the work they did, every thing is outstanding. I have dealt with a lot of clothing/gear customer service departments and no one has beat them.

I’ve owned several pairs of designer sunglasses over the years from Ray-Ban, Persol, Tom Ford, etc. These Maui Jim’s are far and away the best. Not only are they lightweight and comfortable to wear, the lens quality of MJ is unbeatable. I used to shrug off the idea that there was that much of a difference in the quality of polarized lenses from brand to brand, but I was so wrong. MJ’s superiority is obvious immediately; it is significantly better.

Most beautiful sunglasses ever! This is my second pair, same design/color/lens. Light, sophisticated. Great coverage.

Got these for my husband because he loved my Maui Jim red lenses. The didn't disappoint. He loves them -- light and look nice on his face.
