Brocatelle Coverlet

I loved this coverlet the second I saw it online, but put off buying it while I shopped around for something less expensive. I might as well have saved myself the time, because this coverlet is exactly what I was looking for - very lightweight (I sleep warm), patterned, a rich medium blue color, and oversized (to help with a partner who tends to pull covers off in his sleep). After washing, little raised areas appeared in regular repeated areas of the pattern, which I tried to show in my photo - I think it actually adds a nice texture. We slept with it last night and I didn't wake up overheated, and because it is oversized my partner didn't manage to yank it completely off of me. The flip side of the coverlet is just the backing of the pattern, so there is absolutely no batting/filling, making it perfect for hot summer nights. I love it in person just as much as I loved it online.
